If no one in your residence is able to carry trash and recycling bins to the curb, contact the City of Takoma Park Department of Public Works at 301-891-7633 or publicworks@takomaparkmd.gov to request an exemption from curbside pickup for trash and recycling (but not yard waste).
Public Works staff will work with you to clarify details about where your bins will be located for pick up, and possible placement of a marker in your yard.
