Docent tour of Fierce Women 2.0 at National Museum of Women and the Arts

Explore the newly installed collection galleries on a Tour: Fierce Women 2.0

The Museum's website says:  "The museum is brimming with artwork by and about women who thrived as professionals and influencers despite social norms that denounced such public, “unfeminine” behavior. Discover a diverse cast of fierce women who refused to let men define their place; thumbed their noses at the limited roles society accorded them; and blazed trails as artists, activists, and innovators—proving that fierce gets the job done.

If you’ve seen our “Fierce Women” tour and want more, this is your chance to meet a new squad of awesome artists.

Inspired by Museum Hack, this unconventional, edgy, and fast-paced tour is fun, fearless, and free. "

No admission  charge.  This is part of the Museum's monthly Free Community Day.

Please meet at Takoma Metro station platform (near entrance/exit to elevator on platform) promptly at 11:30 AM.   Tour starts at 1 but we need to get there early to get spots.
